Responsibilities

β€’ Co-create with customers β€” Engage deeply with customers to uncover their most pressing challenges and design AI-powered solutions that drive measurable business impact.

β€’ Elevate the craft β€” design visually compelling, modern interfaces that bring consumer-grade quality to enterprise workflows.

β€’ Prototype and move fast β€” take ideas from whiteboard sketch to functional prototype in days, not week.

β€’ Inspire product direction β€” influence strategy and vision through bold storytelling, immersive demos, and provocative design explorations.

β€’ Build design systems β€” evolve shared patterns, frameworks, and visual systems that scale across multiple customers.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 6+ years experience working in product or service designOR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in product or service designOR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems). Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

8+ years experience working in product design with cross-functional teams in an agile development environmentProven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment β€” managing multiple priorities and adapting to change with agility and ownership. Experience designing in a 0β†’1 environment, from exploration to launch.Deep appreciation for craft β€” able to translate vision into thoughtful, well-polished design prototypes.Track record of advocating for design thinking, influencing outcomes, and solving ambiguous problems with clarity and creativity.Direct experience working with customers or end-users to uncover insights and validate solutions.Familiarity with prompting LLMs, working with generative AI, or a strong desire to learn and experiment in this space.Exceptional communication and storytelling skills β€” able to energize teams, articulate rationale, and iterate with openness and feedback.Collaborative mindset with a focus on inclusion, shared learning, and helping others grow.Experience building or evolving design systems from the ground up.

Product Design IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
