The Procurement Solutions team is accountable for leading end to end procurement, driving a compliant supply base and purchasing environment, identifying opportunities for impact, providing market insights to shape business aligned supplier strategies, landing procurement programs, and delivering value, efficiencies, supplier quality and compliance.

As a Procurement Manager in the Procurement Solutions team, you will own engagement(s) with business stakeholders in our Business Development, Strategy & Ventures, Experience + Devices, Microsoft AI and/or Technology & Research organizations. The Procurement Manager will collaborate with the business and engage at the Leadership level to become a trusted partner. The Procurement Manager will lead quarterly Finance and Leadership Meetings to showcase deal pipeline and achieved or forecasted savings, progress on the supplier strategy and achieved supplier diversity and sustainability goals. The Procurement Manager will identify opportunities, design strategies, drive end to end sourcing solutions, achieve cost savings and communicate those to the business and Finance in order to positively impact budgets. Engage with Engineering and Business leadership to design company aligned Procurement strategies centered around capabilities, quality, and value to Microsoft. Lead end-to-end procurement solutions from supplier strategy creation to sourcing / bid / direct negotiations for each of the identified business units. Deliver on key procurement metrics on hard dollar savings, supplier diversity, sustainability, compliance, company aligned enterprise value Partner with the business, Finance, Privacy, and legal groups to land strategies on a cost optimized, scalable, and compliant supply base Drive strategy informed by data analytics, business requirements, supplier capabilities and performance, industry trends, financial budgets and procurement and contract data Identify opportunities for supplier rationalization strategies that deliver effective supplier use while considering risk, overall supplier mix and opportunities to invest in innovative or diverse supplier capabilities Embody our culture and values.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 2+ years experience (including internships) in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or OperationsOR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 5+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or OperationsOR Master's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Data Analytics, Business, Finance or related field AND 3+ years experience in Data Science/Analytics, Finance, Project Management, Supply Chain, and/or OperationsOR equivalent experience. Sourcing and Category Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $75,100 - $148,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $98,800 - $163,300 per year.
