Description
Microsoft’s newly formed Office of Strategy and Transformation (OS&T) is looking for an Senior Process Manager, AI Trasnformation to lead transformation efforts across Microsoft that will shape Microsoft’s journey to becoming a Frontier Firm.As Microsoft advances its AI transformation, this role ensures the organization is positioned to scale AI in a way that is value-generating. This role is responsible for structuring and managing complex projects, coordinating across both internal and external contributors, and ensuring timely delivery of outcomes aligned with strategic goals. The successful candidate will bring proficient stakeholder engagement skills, a deep understanding of project management methodologies, and experience in AI and organizational design leveraging a consultative approach to engage stakeholders and co-create solutions, architecting end-to-end transformation strategies, integrating external learnings and best practices to inform decision-making.

Structure and manage complex projects, ensuring clear plans and effective execution across multiple teams and stakeholders. Coordinate across internal and external contributors to align project objectives and deliverables. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies. Draft executive-level communications, synthesize findings, and present updates to leadership. Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Ensure alignment of project outcomes with organizational strategy and transformation goals. Utilize project management tools and methodologies to track progress and report on key performance indicators. Embody our culture and values
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualificationsMaster's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 4+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 6+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experienceOR equivalent experience.2+ years experience leading enterprise-wide transformation initiatives, ideally involving AI or digital technologies. Additional or preferred qualifications
Master's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience (e.g., data analytics)OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field AND 10+ years process management, process execution, process optimization, or related experience (e.g., data analytics)OR equivalent experience.4+ years experience in enterprise transformation and AI implementation. Proficient systems thinking and expertise in change architecture. Demonstrated executive presence and ability to influence across cross-functional teams. Process Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
