Global Payroll provides trusted payroll solutions to over 200,000 employees in 103 countries. The Process Excellence Manager – Global Payroll role provides strategic oversight and governance for all technology programs and projects across Payroll Operations and Payroll Accounting. Key responsibilities include understanding program requirements and objectives, ensuring the alignment of payroll technology improvement initiatives with business goals, managing the stakeholders and teams involved in these programs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. This role will drive business value by working collaboratively with both Microsoft teams and external suppliers. Apply data-driven methodologies to efficiently manage initiatives and drive prioritization while ensuring optimization throughout the process. Build relationships, collaborate across teams, and coordinate timelines for complex, cross-discipline projects. Oversee projects from conception to implementation, including root cause analysis, business requirements' development, process mapping, user acceptance testing, and deployment. Drive the future state capabilities and systems roadmap, clearly communicating business impact and success metrics. Translate business requirements into build requirements, working with technical teams. Ensure readiness for process, tools, and system changes among people, suppliers, and partners. Define data policies and governance to maintain pay data channel integrity and reliability. Present business case justifications for prioritization of resources and technology investments aligned with strategic objectives. Establish a robust project governance framework, including portfolio planning, prioritization, and risk management. Monitor and report on initiative performance, tracking key metrics and ensuring accountability.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

2+ year university degree, or equivalent, in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field AND 5+ years experience in payroll operationsOR Equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field AND 8+ years experience in operationsOR Equivalent experience.5+ year(s) experience in payroll operations experience in a global, large enterprise-sized (e.g., 10,000+ employee) company.Lean, Business Process Management Professional, Change Management (e.g., Prosci), Six Sigma, and/or Agile certifications. Payroll IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
