As a Power Platform Cloud Architect within Microsoft Customer Success, you will partner with customers to accelerate their journey to the cloud by enabling successful adoption and long‑term value realization from Microsoft Power Platform solutions. Cloud Solution Architects operate as a centralized delivery engine, working across regions and customer segments to provide timely architectural guidance, drive repeatable and scalable delivery, and align solutions to customer business outcomes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with customers, account teams, and delivery partners to remove technical blockers, promote best practices, and ensure customers achieve measurable success through effective use of the Power Platform as part of their broader Microsoft cloud strategy.

Responsibilities
Solution Design & Implementation (Power Platform)
Design, build, and implement business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Power Pages) to address defined customer and business requirements.Contribute to application design, workflow automation, and data architecture using low‑code development practices to deliver reliable, scalable, and supportable solutions aligned to customer scenarios.
Architecture, Standards & Platform‑First Development
Develop solutions using a platform‑first approach, following established architectural patterns, technical standards, and best practices to ensure solution quality, maintainability, and performance.Apply Microsoft‑recommended design guidance to support repeatable, extensible Power Platform implementations in customer environments.
Security, Governance & Application Lifecycle Management
Build solutions with awareness of security, governance, and application lifecycle management (ALM) concepts to support enterprise deployment requirements.Work within existing customer and Microsoft policies, environments, and deployment frameworks to ensure compliant and sustainable solutions.
Customer Engagement & Adoption Support
Collaborate with customers, partners, and internal team members to deliver Power Platform solutions that support successful adoption, usage, and business outcomes.Support customer success by contributing to solution delivery activities, technical guidance, and adoption enablement aligned to assigned engagements.
Technical Readiness & Continuous Learning
Maintain a working understanding of the broader Power Platform ecosystem, continuously learning platform capabilities and updates.Apply ongoing learning to effectively support solution delivery, customer scenarios, and evolving Power Platform best practices.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
• 10+ years’ experience in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Platform Admin Center and the COE Starter Kit.
Strong hands-on experience across:o Power Apps (Model-Driven & Canvas)
o Power Automate (Cloud)
o Dataverse data modeling and security
Power Platform Administration & Governance o Administer and support Power Platform environments, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).
Deep understanding of Dataverse, governance strategies, environment planning, and security.Expertise in developing environment strategies (environment types, purpose, security roles).Proficiency in licensing (standard vs. premium), capacity planning, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.Analytical skills for reporting and data analysis within PPAC and M365 audit logs.Capable of establishing and managing a Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE).Experience Level: Senior to expert in Power Platform governance, administration, and Power Apps development, with experience designing scalable solutions in enterprise environments.Language Spoken: English (Proficient to Expert)Analytical Expertise: Ability to translate business requirements into well-structured Power Platform applications.Enterprise Focus: Demonstrated experience in Power Platform administration and support within large-scale environments.Power Platform Development: Power Automate (Desktop)Power Pages (configuration, authentication, and site design) Working knowledge of JavaScript for Power Pages customizations preferredPower Fx proficiency
Cloud Solution Architecture IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
