To help us achieve our objectives, growth, and transformation, we are seeking a leader within our Integrated Planning & Execution group. This role is responsible for supporting managing the lifecycle planning and utilization of our rack positions and resources within our Data Centers. This group will support our rapidly scaling global data center infrastructure supply, which supports the full spectrum of Microsoft products and services. This role sits at the nexus of multiple teams which come together that enables successful delivery of data center supply.

The role requires deep Subject Matter Expertise (SME) in demand planning, supply strategy, optimization and risk modeling, statistical planning model,  advanced planning systems and methodologies, and IT infrastructure concepts.

Own planning and optimization of utilization of Data Center Rack positions and resources within our Data Center plans for the company.  Develop a plan and charter for the team to enhance the efficiency and reliability of delivering essential resources like space, power, and cooling for global customers. Manage a diverse team of technical program managers, operations engineers, and business intelligence experts to develop worldwide programs and create metrics for evaluating and improving data center performance. Collaborate closely with software engineering and product teams to drive projects that have significantly improved on-time delivery and power recovery efforts. Develop resource planning models and organizational health strategies within the team to better plan for business needs and retain top talent. Identify, evaluate, and implement planning improvements drawing on statistical methods, demand planning principles, best practices, and emerging software technology capabilities.  Work across a diverse group of stakeholders to ensure we collaboratively improve, adapt, and adopt our processes and support software systems to support rapidly changing business requirements.   Build and manages key relationships needed for demand planning. Drives collaboration and alignment on plans; cross-functional relationships.    Drives long-term strategy for plans and drives additional forecast variability, and with longer-term planning horizons.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.5+ years people management experience.6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.5+ years datacenter experience.Other Requirements

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience8+ years people management experience 1+ year(s) of experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).Technical Program Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
