Description

We are seeking an experienced Partner Development Manager (PDM) to lead strategic engagement with Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms, and Clinical Application developers. This role is pivotal in accelerating adoption of Microsoft’s ambient clinical intelligence solutions—including Dragon Copilot—through embedded partnerships and co-sell motions.

The candidate will have deep healthcare domain knowledge, an understanding of partner ecosystems, and a proven track record of driving joint go-to-market success.

Key ResponsibilitiesPartner Strategy & Engagement

Identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential ISVs and EHR vendors into the Clinical Apps Embed program.Develop joint business plans and solution roadmaps with strategic partners.Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned partners, advocating for their success internally.Sales & GTM Execution

Drive partner sales performance to meet revenue and adoption targets.Enable partners to leverage Microsoft programs, incentives, and co-sell platforms.Collaborate with field sellers, CSPs, and SIs to execute joint GTM campaigns.Technical Integration & Validation

Guide partners through technical validation, AppSource publishing, and Dragon Copilot SDK integration.Coordinate with engineering and product teams to resolve integration blockers and ensure solution readiness.Program Management

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of partner onboarding, from nomination through Direct Bill assessment.Maintain tight communication with partners during allow listing, compliance checks, and onboarding phases.Internal Collaboration

Partner with legal, compliance, and licensing teams to ensure agreements reflect actual partner status and meet audit requirements.Contribute to program guide updates and scalable process documentation. Other:

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Operations, Computer Science or a related field AND 5+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience OR equivalent experience.4+ years of experience in healthcare, with deep familiarity across provider, payer, or health IT segments.4+ years of experience managing healthcare partner sales, channel sales, or strategic alliances.Experience with EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) and clinical application workflows.Understanding of healthcare compliance, regulatory frameworks, and reimbursement models.Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, MSX) and pipeline management.Other Requirements:

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Business Science, or an advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) or a related field AND 8+ years experience in partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry or related experience OR equivalent experience.Experience with Dragon Medical, DAX, or Dragon Copilot is preferred.Familiarity with ambient clinical documentation, AI-powered healthcare solutions, or virtual assistant technologies.Demonstrated success in launching healthcare solutions via AppSource or similar marketplaces.Exposure to SDK/API integration workflows in clinical applications.Communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Ability to travel up to 25% for partner engagement and industry events.Partner Development Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $107,600 - $187,500 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,600 - $205,600 per year.
