Overview

We are seeking a Microsoft Federal Deal and Contract Assist (DCA), Contract Specialist who will play a critical role in supporting Microsoft's Federal Unified business in its mission of enabling US Federal Government customers to leverage Microsoft technology and services. In this role, the Microsoft Federal Deal and Contract Assist (DCA) Contract Specialist will lead Unified deal and contract processes; including, facilitation of deal setup, contract review and drafting, approvals, and contract execution.

Responsibilities

Responsible for partnering with Services sellers, Delivery and other stakeholders to support Unified quotes, contracts, purchase orders, and contract modificationsLead end-to-end process of creating and managing contracts in Microsoft internal deal management systems, including ensuring deals are set up and correctly submitted to pass pre and post validation criteriaProvide expertise on Federal customer-specific deal and contract requirements, and conduct issue resolutionAssist with identifying continuous improvements of Unified deal, contracting and workflow processesMust follow defined work instructions with high quality and within defined Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience. Other Requirements:Citizenship & Citizenship Verification:

This position requires verification of U.S. citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States governments agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet these legal requirements, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport. Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Additional or preferred qualificationsMaster's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 3+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 5+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.Must have experience supporting U.S. Federal Government Professional Services sales contracting and deal actions.

Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
