The Content Optimization team within Xbox Planning & Insights plays a critical role in shaping how we acquire, launch, and optimize content on Game Pass and Xbox storefronts.

We’re looking for a Manager Xbox Content Optimazation who is passionate about gaming, motivated by impact, and skilled at driving clarity across complex workstreams.

In this role, you’ll have an opportunity to drive impact as a trusted right hand to the Director of Xbox Content Optimization, owning projects from conception to delivery, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and building frameworks that help Xbox make better, faster content decisions at the intersection of geo, audience, genre, content type and engagement.

Drive Workstreams: Own end-to-end program delivery for high-priority initiatives such as content performance modeling and connection to strategy, 1P/3P optimization planning, and content KPI (Key Performnace Indicators) refinement processes. Project Planning & Coordination: Build and maintain project timelines, partner with analytics, finance, and game studio business teams, and ensure clear accountability for milestones. Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a connective tissue across teams — partner with business owners, analysts, and leadership to ensure direction ladders up to our north star strategy for the Gaming org. Business Impact Modeling: Create and iterate on models that forecast content performance, optimize our understanding of subscription revenue attribution, and help guide investment decisions. Content & Communication Support: Prepare skeleton decks, summarize insights, and represent the team in key forums (e.g., standing in for leadership in partner meetings). Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

3+ years product management, strategy consulting, finance, business/corporate development, or related experience OR equivalent experience.Experience translating strategic goals into structured, actionable plans with clearly defined deliverables.Communication and relationship-building skills with experience collaborating across diverse teams and functions. Experience in data analysis leveraging complex KPI (Key Performance Indicators) to inform insights and guide decision-making.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in gaming industry. Familiarity with performance measurement frameworks and impact modeling. Ability to thrive in ambiguity, balancing independent execution with collaborative alignment. A growth mindset and a willingness to experiment, learn, and iterate.

Business Planning IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $85,100 - $169,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $112,000 - $185,300 per year.
