Description

We are seeking a Sr. Learning & Skilling Enablement Lead to steer a bold, enterprise-wide disruption: one that moves us to a future of agentic learning and skilling.You will be responsible for shaping and governing a modern, intelligent content ecosystem that enables personalized, scalable learning and skilling across a federated enterprise. This role blends deep content strategy expertise with program leadership and cross-functional coordination — serving as the intersection between Academy teams, engineering, and enterprise stakeholders. Your work will ensure that content is not only high-quality and reusable, but also structured, discoverable, and AI-ready — laying a core foundation to reimagine our Academies and rapidly scale upskilling and reskilling across Microsoft.

AI-First Content Framework: Establish an open, machine-readable content ecosystem that intelligent agents can seamlessly mine, atomize, and recombine—enabling dynamic, personalized learning experiences at scale.
AI-Ready Content Standards and Governance: Define and enforce federation-wide content standards that ensure interoperability, machine-readability, and modularity—enabling rapid curation and deployment of learning and skilling assets at scale and speed across AI-driven platforms.
Intelligent Content Assurance: Architect and manage systems that leverage AI for automated content vetting—ensuring accuracy and user trust—while automating metadata tagging, classification, and quality checks to accelerate agent discoverability and personalization at scale.
Continuous Content Renewal: Establish AI-driven pipelines that pull from trusted, vetted sources to automate content updates—ensuring refresh cycles keep pace with business change and deliver the most current, high-quality learning experiences at scale.
Repository Modernization: Lead the transformation from legacy LMS-based systems into adaptive, agent-ready content hubs—prioritizing governance, content lifecycle management, and interoperability to ensure sustainable evolution and enterprise-wide adoption.
Stakeholder/Customer Collaboration: Exemplifies best practices in identifying and developing relationships with key stakeholders/partners across audiences, business units, or verticals/industries to represent their content ecosystem needs.
Program Execution: Drives the mapping of the necessary points of engagement with relevant stakeholders to enable content execution and address operational needs.
Data Intelligence and Content Relevance: Provides guidance on how data should be used to see how successfully the content is meeting pre-established objectives for various deliverables. Drives assessment of content to determine how it is being consumed by stakeholders, including the evaluation of content feedback from relevant stakeholders and partners through feedback sessions.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND/OR 5+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, HR, customer success, industry or program/project management; OR Master's Degree or equivalent AND/OR 3+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, human resources (HR), customer success, industry, or program/project management; OR equivalent experience. 5+ years of demonstrated ability to architect, govern, and optimize content repositories and learning systems across multiple platforms (e.g., LMS, SharePoint, adaptive content hubs), ensuring interoperability, lifecycle management, and enterprise-wide adoption. 2+ years of hands-on experience establishing machine-readable, modular content frameworks that enable intelligent agents to mine, atomize, and recombine assets for dynamic, personalized learning experiences at scale. 5+ years’ experience in leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to align content strategy, drive execution, and ensure content meets evolving business and learner needs.

Vocational qualification or higher education degree (e.g., Bachelor's Degree) AND 8+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, field or sales, HR, customer success, industry or program/project management OR Master's Degree or equivalent AND 6+ years experience in Learning and Development, relevant technical roles, business development, human resources (HR), customer success, industry, or program/project management OR equivalent experience.
Integrated Learning IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
