Description
Microsoft's Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) team is seeking a Integrated Planning Analyst for Datacenter Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) to be a part of the Global Project Controls team in the US. This role will support the global and regional execution teams in schedule analysis and data quality. Strong analytical skills and data visualization will be key success factors.CO+I is the team behind one of the world’s largest cloud infrastructures, responsible for powering all Microsoft online Products and Services as well as powering Microsoft’s “Cloud First” mission. Our Global Project Controls team supports the delivery of CO+I’s mission and vision as the trusted advisors that deliver a definitive, responsive, and timely project controls program to all business areas via the industry’s best people, work processes, systems, and tools. This role is eligible for hybrid work and required to report to the Redmond metro office or San Antonio, TX; Atlanta, GA; Phoenix, AZ HUB offices. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the metro location.

Collaborate and Support various Data Center (DC) Integrated business planning, reporting and benchmarking initiatives.Actively contribute to DC Capacity planning and delivery operations.Assist with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) template development, governance, activity coding and management.Support standardization of processes, procedures, guidelines, and workflows across all the regions (AMER, APAC and EMEA).Be responsible for review and validation of schedules and collection of all pertinent data from the schedules. Identify, consolidate and develop reliable source(s) of information.Understand and map information flow between various applications and tools for effective integration.Coordinate with EPC stakeholders and integrate reporting requirements.Be responsible for creation, distribution and maintenance of executive level reports to the leadership team.Draft standard processes and procedure guidelines.Develop workflows and process maps. Plan and manage partnering workshops with EPC stakeholders and cross-functional teams.Support implementation of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and execute Objective and Key Results (OKRs) for DC portfolio.Embody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Additional or Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product developmentOR equivalent experience.6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
