As a Principal Product Manager (PM) – Growth, you will own the adoption, engagement, and ecosystem expansion across MDQ's emerging product portfolio.

This role is ideal for a product leader who can combine deep customer empathy, strong technical fluency, and a rigorous experimentation mindset to shape how customers and partners discover and realize value from AI and quantum technologies for research and development (R&D). As a Principal PM, you will create clarity in ambiguous spaces, define vision, influence senior leaders, and drive cross-org alignment across engineering, research, partner, and go-to-market (GTM) organizations.

Responsibilities

Thought Leadership execution

Drive the playbook for how researchers, enterprises, developers, and partners discover and deliver value at scale with MDQ technologies.Align engineering, research, marketing, and business teams around key growth priorities and measurable outcomes.Execute thought leadership activities for MDQ products, including communications, customer case studies, internal adoption wins, demos, and events.Engagement strategy and content

Design the strategy, messaging, narrative and value proposition to be used as a foundation for the communication and sales teams.Develop engaging content such as decks, whitepapers, and demos targeting business decision makers, chief scientists, and R&D directors showcasing the R&D transformation with AI and Quantum.Create practitioner assets to engage scientists and researchers, driving product awareness, adoption, and satisfaction.Ecosystem & Platform Growth

Identify new opportunities to extend MDQ's reach through partnerships, integrations, developer tools, and platform capabilities.Drive the plan to expand the MDQ ecosystem across ISVs and Software Integrators.Engage with selected partners to orchestrate the commercial and technical motions to help them onboard the platform, bring it to market, and successfully deliver customer projects.Partner with engineering and ecosystem teams to remove adoption barriers, streamline onboarding, and create scalable pathways to activation.Customer & Market Insight

Lead customer research with developers, researchers, and enterprise users to uncover deep insights.Translate complex customer needs into product experiences that accelerate time-to-value and long-term engagement.Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving landscape of scientific workflows, quantum computing, and developer ecosystems.Cross-Organizational Influence

Drive alignment across engineering teams, partner orgs, and business stakeholders.Influence senior leaders through clear narratives, data-forward insights, and customer impact.Bring clarity and decision-making rigor to ambiguous problem spaces.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/service/program management OR equivalent experience.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Demonstrated success shaping multi-year roadmaps and driving cross-functional programs across internal organizations.Demonstrated success building and executing growth strategies across the entire go-to-market lifecycle including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, or retention.Experience leveraging analytical skills to define metrics, design experiments, and synthesize complex data.Ability to lead through influence and deliver results in ambiguous, highly technical domains.Strong technical fluency and ability to partner deeply with engineering and research teams.Experience in deep tech, scientific computing, developer platforms, and ecosystem development.Experience driving community or partner ecosystem growth.Experienced with written and verbal communication, and narratives for an executive audience.

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $139,900 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
