This role requires the Principal Product Group Manager to define the vision, roadmap, and execution for Semantic Kernel as well as plan how we will engage the OSS and enterprise communities, execute on those plans, support the community when they are blocked and listen to feedback coming in from customers (internally and externally) while delivering product results.

As the Principal Group Product Manager, you will:
Work as part of a results-oriented, data-driven team Be a Leader, guiding and collaborating with engineers, program managers and partner teams to deliver a set of features with the right overall design, architecture, implementation, and scalability. Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 10+ years technical engineering experience in product/service/project/program management or software engineering.OR equivalent experience. 6+ years people management experience.8 + years experience in cloud technologies and platforms / Software Development Kits (SDKs)
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in at least 2 languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, or Python OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field and/or MBA AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in at least 2 languages including, but not limited to, C#, Java, or Python OR equivalent experience. Machine Learning and/or Artificial Intelligence Application Programming Interfaces Frameworks SDK Frameworks (Semantic Kernel hands on experience is a plus) Demonstrated ability to define and deliver systems, products and/or SDKs from concept to production Demonstrated experience managing development of distributed engineering teams Written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Self-driven and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete details.
Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
