Description
SharePoint powers file collaboration for Microsoft Office, Teams, OneNote, Education, Viva, and much more – making it one of the largest storage platforms in the world and a leader in content management systems. We want your help to build the world’s most flexible content storage platform that expands SharePoint’s role as a leader in content management as we enter the age of AI.As the Principal Group Product Manager for the OneDrive and SharePoint Platform team, you will shape the future of AI across Microsoft 365 by leading the innovation and delivery of the core OneDrive and SharePoint AI Platform. You will set the team’s vision and strategy, supporting Microsoft 365 AI experiences and providing core file grounding and RAG for all Microsoft 365 products and services. You will enable and empower core AI scenarios for Copilot, Agents, Copilot Notebooks and many marquee Microsoft applications.
You will lead the team that owns and optimize the integration with core Microsoft products like Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot APIs. Moreover, working closely with customers, you will deeply understand their needs and ensure we deliver world-class grounding quality through developing and iterating on high quality evals.
You will lead a high-performing and diverse PM organization that runs product management for one of the largest and most impactful services on the planet, which provides the essential storage and data that fuel AI and Copilot scenarios. You will foster a culture of customer obsession, innovation, and collaboration within your team and across Microsoft.

You will lead a team of Product Managers focused on the OneDrive and SharePoint AI Platform. You will be responsible for managing the backlog of more than 100 engineers and working with a team of skilled designers, researchers, and data scientists. You will cultivate an inclusive culture and growth mindset, while partnering effectively with teams across Microsoft to strategize, design and deliver holistic solutions. This will require technical depth to ensure we make good tradeoffs among multiple solution paths and Return on Investment (ROI) decisions. Your ability to keep up with the latest AI innovation in the industry and coaching your team will be key to building a team of rock stars needed to build a differentiated and flexible AI platform. Overall accountability to grow the OneDrive and SharePoint AI Platform by developing capabilities to support SharePoint, OneDrive and Copilot and other Microsoft AI applications. Drive our core AI Platform investments towards our mission to deliver state-of-the-art grounding and RAG capabilities. Accountability for coaching the team and raising the bar on evals to help ensure delivery of AI capabilities of the highest quality. Lead key partnerships with a diverse set of organizations, helping customers have the best Microsoft 365 experience they can. Grow talented PMs across all level bands and skillsets, improving and upgrading our talent as a team and creating the next generation of leaders. Engage with customers, both directly & indirectly, in formal and informal opportunities from conferences like Ignite to calls with customers to connect directly with them. Partner with Applied Science & Research, as well as your peers in PM across Microsoft to deliver seamless end-to-end experiences. Partner across our engineering teams to build a shared understanding and help organize our work across teams and services.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.6+ years people management experience. Experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs), evals and building/shipping AI solutions. Experience presenting to leadership and executive audiences.Other Requirements:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:
Experience handling successful delivery from initial strategy to engineering requirements to audience/user adoption. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across teams and disciplines, both in writing and verbally. Experience influencing technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving alignment, and taking initiative in ambiguous or fast-paced environments.Ability to collaborate across teams and across levels of management. People Management skills leading a diverse and inclusive, talented and creative team, experience including coaching and mentoring. Proven ability to create a healthy team culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging, and collaboration. Demonstrated interest and empathy for understanding customer scenarios and experiences. Software Engineering M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
