Description

The Partner Operations team enables Microsoft's Global Partners as they do business with Microsoft through the quote to cash cycle. Working closely with our Partners and other Microsoft groups, we help launch new products, programs, systems or capabilities that support our business goals and strategies. The Partner Operations Group Manager is accountable for leading a high performing team of Partner Enablement Managers (PEMs) who are responsible for readying, launching and enabling our Partners. This role will collaborate with Global Partner Solutions, Engineering, Business Planning, Planning & Launch, Process leaders, and other key business partners to deliver best in class partner experience and change management. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a multinational organization, exhibits outstanding organizational, planning, communication, judgement, and negotiation skills, uses data and analytics to drive performance insights and improvements and has customer/partner obsession and adaptability.

Key responsibilities of the role:

Accountable to lead a team of Partner Enablement Managers focused on Microsoft’s Volume Licensing business.Attract, develop, and retain a diverse and high performing team that consistently produces value for the business.Ability to establish and maintain key stakeholder relationships at levels across the business, and to influence these business partners to deliver optimum solutions for partners and for Microsoft.One Microsoft: Look across Microsoft Business Operations & Microsoft team to identify/leverage best practices to drive seamless experiences for our partners.Accelerate and delivers business transformation.Drive continuous process improvements via analysis and identification of opportunities with a global consideration.Ensure the team is representing partner requirements in launch and leveraging our core services (co-design, adoption calls, pilots) to drive design with partners and land change.Drive prioritized services across our partner community model, including partner enablement.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR equivalent experience.Demonstrated experience in Partner Channel Management and/or Customer relationship management.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

Exposure and knowledge of Commercial business model and/or Volume Licensing.Attention to detail and analytical problem solving, with strategic thinking and judgement to make decisions in ambiguous situations.Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills with ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels (including at very upper levels).Possess a solid process improvement approach/growth mindset; including driving excellence and creating solutions that can be scaled and be globally implemented.Business Program Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
