OverviewThe team’s charter is to build out end to end Microsoft Cloud Infrastructure while driving down unit cost of capacity, ensuring cloud services achieve both revenue and gross margin growth. As a crucial member of the team, you’ll also support long term bets and drive business intelligence to keep Microsoft Cloud ahead of competition. All while enhancing transparency into Cloud Infrastructure investments, safeguarding shareholder interest.
We are looking for a Group Finance Manager - Azure Compute who will coach teams who support our cloud product margins and strategy, defining key areas for margin expansion for Azure Compute.

Responsibilities
Partner with the Azure Compute Engineering leadership team to identify and prioritize investments for sustained margin growthBe a trusted advisor and build working relationships with the Azure Compute leadership teamLead the bi-annual planning cycle for Azure Compute in partnership with Engineering leadership teamContribute to the development and implementation of big growth and transformation ideas in order to meet long term margin aspirations of the business.Be comfortable testing business partners and existing norms or courses of action, to drive better business outcomes for MicrosoftLead and motivate a high functioning teamFocus on creating a diverse and inclusive culture of empathy, trust and collaboration to ensure that each person in the team can thrive and bring their best to workDrive structured people rhythms around career development, performance check-ins, slate planningDrive the tone of compliance within the business and ensure partnership and effectiveness with the business teamsEnsure compliance in all areas of risk within the business
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.Additional or preferred qualifications
Established leadership skills with analytical modeling and strategic thinkingProven data and financial modeling capabilities and ability to work with financial systemsAbility to communicate complex analysis in a simple way. Executive level oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated results proactively driving and delivering high value/high-impact project through both individual and v-team effortsCollaborative partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back as requiredAbility to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, quickly prioritize for impact and the resourcefulness to deliver
Financial Analysis M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $116,900 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $148,400 - $222,600 per year.
