The Xbox Game Development Experiences (GDX) team is responsible for defining and delivering an industry leading developer experience and tools for the top game developers in the world on both PC and the Xbox consoles. We are looking for a Principal Gaming Product Manager who shares our passion for enabling developers to build amazing PC and Xbox games and wants to deliver features that developers will love.

We are looking for someone with a passion for Gaming, Technology, Game Developers and Developer tools. This candidate is experienced at building great products, has the technical strength needed to engage with engineering organizations, has the customer focus needed to engage with and understand the unique Xbox developer community and has the ability to partner successfully across organizational boundaries.

Partner with stakeholders across business, design, technical program management, and engineering to define the business case, product strategy, and roadmap for our engagement with Middleware partners and technologiesCollaborate with hardware and software engineers, design, marketing, 1PP & 3PP game studios, and other key contributorsManage and support feature crews across multiple divisions in delivering high quality tools features on scheduleProvide outstanding communications to Executive Leadership and other stakeholders

Develop data-informed solutions that drive efficiencies for our customers and our business

Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in product/project/program management or software developmentOR equivalent experience.5+ years experience working in gaming industry3+ years experience managing complex projects

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

10+ years of experience in Game Development in Program Management or similar disciplines (Producer, etc.)Experience with Middleware products and engines in Game DevelopmentStudios experience making games or experience with game development processes as a Middleware vendor, tools vendor or equivalent Demonstrated ability to create and drive Strategy and manage engagement across companiesDemonstrated ability to focus on the customer and customer experience

Product Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $137,600 - $267,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $180,400 - $294,000 per year.
