We’re hiring a Gaming, Digital at Retail Lead to shape and lead the digital retail strategy for Microsoft Gaming. In this team manager role, you’ll drive revenue growth and unlock new opportunities for digital product sales across the retail landscape. The selected candidate will bring strategic thinking, leadership experience, and a deep understanding of digital retail.

Responsibilities
Develop and lead a high-performing team responsible for managing the digital product portfolio in the retail channel - This includes overseeing digital games contentCode‑to‑Content (C2C), subscriptions, and gift cards/Card, Subscription & Value (CSV).Create and execute the digital at retail strategy for Microsoft Gaming - Leveraging insights from the field and partners, and fostering alignment across marketing, engineering, and operations stakeholders.Cultivate alignment within the partner ecosystem - Particularly with digital product distribution partners, to ensure cohesive execution of strategies and initiatives.Define the future of digital transactions in retail - Identifying innovative approaches to maximize opportunities for Microsoft and its retail channel partners. Drive towards revenue and growth objectives for digital product sales in the retail sector - Consistently monitor performance and implement adjustments as necessary.Establish and manage a rhythm of business - Provide regular strategy updates to key external retail partners and gaming publishing partners, fostering trusted relationships and collaboration.Identify, test, and scale new sales channels for digital Xbox products -Exploring innovative methods to expand reach and drive sales growth.Embody our culture and values

6+ years category management, digital marketing strategy, product planning, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related fieldOR equivalent experience Preferred Qualifications
12+ years category management, digital marketing strategy, product planning, or related work experience AND Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related fieldOR 8+ years category management, product management, marketing strategy, business planning, product planning, or related work experience AND MBA/Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related fieldOR equivalent experience6+ years experience managing and expanding a category and attaining sales and profitability target within a complex (e.g., multinational or matrixed) organization OR equivalent experience.Proven track record of success creating retail strategy, preferably within the gaming or digital content industries.Leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams towards achieving ambitious goals. Deep understanding of digital product distribution channels and retail dynamics, with the ability to navigate complex ecosystems.Analytical abilities, with the capability to interpret data and insights to drive informed decision‑making.Clear and effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Strategic thinker with a creative mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends and opportunities in the digital retail space. Category Management M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
