In this role, you’ll explore the Xbox ecosystem to uncover data-driven opportunities that support game publishers and enhance their success on our platform. Begins to learn the business, the data landscape, tools, and technologies of that business and the lineage of those data and asks pertinent questions to ensure they understand requirements and/or issues relevant to both the business and its data landscape.Develops foundational knowledge of data and business principles to support project analysis with a customer- and/or stakeholder-centric perspective.Conducts analyses to respond to business and/or research questions, interprets analytical outputs, and provides responses in an appropriate format, and partners to build on others' analyses and frameworks.Adheres to data privacy and security requirements, responsible and ethical data handling and AI practices, and classification and governance rules and regulations.Learns to build working relationships within and across teams to ensure alignment in data sourcing, methodologies, models, analytical tools and processes, and business priorities to deliver key insights and results.Under guidance, shares and simplifies relevant findings and insights to tell stories of analyses through one or more means including dashboards, reports, data visualizations, interactive self-service platforms, slides, internal forums, ad-hoc inquiries, and/or talking points.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualificationsCurrently Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, Data Science, Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics or related field.Must have at least 1 semester/term remaining following the completion of the internship.Candidate must be enrolled in a full time bachelor's, masters, MBA, or PhD program in area relevant for the role during the academic term immediately before their internship.
The base pay range for this internship is USD $4550.00 - $9190.00 per month. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $6210.00 - $10080.00 per month.
