We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Franchise Business Planning Manager to join our team and drive the growth and success of our franchise. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of one of gaming’s most iconic franchises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business plans that align with our long-term vision and goals. They will oversee various financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting and insightful analysis. Additionally, this role requires close collaboration across different teams to ensure efficient execution of initiatives. The Franchise Business Planning Manager will synthesize financial results, milestones, risks, and opportunities into compelling narratives that support the franchise's continued success.

Financial Management: Oversee and manage the Rhythm of Business financial processes, including Monthly Close, Quarterly Forecast, Annual Budget, and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes. This includes consolidation, insights, and storytelling across the franchise in addition to P&L reporting.Data-driven Revenue Growth: Create data-driven recommendations to optimize business performance in the short term and develop strategies to drive growth.Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate across the business team, including Acquisition,Post-Sale Monetization, and Resource Management, to ensure efficient execution of business initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support franchise objectives.Deadline Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously and be confident with context switchingEmbody our Culture & Values

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 6+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvementOR equivalent experience6+ years overseeing and managing the Rhythm of Business financial processes Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree preferredDemonstrated experience in analytical thinking, along with communication and presentation skillsDemonstrated experience in Excel, PowerPoint, financial modeling, and financial analysisCreative thinker, proactive problem solver, and team player with a passion for gaming and the Minecraft franchiseBusiness Program Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
