Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Finance Manager to partner with engineering and business leaders to deeply understand, influence, and manage the gross margin health of Office products Teams and Skype. The role partners with engineering and finance to model, plan, and implement structural efficiencies, and long-term bets. The team partners with engineering and finance partners to support the GM health of Office 365 Commercial businesses.
Manage the financial health of Teams and Skype workloads by leveraging engineering partners, forecasting and budgeting, financial reporting, and owning long-range planning targeting steady state gross margin. Display thought leadership by continuously improving financial modeling as business evolves.
Partner with engineering teams & leaders to drive long term product profitability. Provide business insights and recommendations to peers and stakeholders to achieve COGS and profitability goals and drive shareholder return, including cost optimization, trends, and future requirements. Manage and execute processes through engagement with internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with business leaders to define action plans for financial and business analysis findings.
Provide business leader support and actionable insights. Review recurring financial reporting and presentations. Identify trends and formulate action plans. Determine financial results and conduct scenario analysis. Identify variance causes and solutions. Collaborate to ensure execution of plans and accountability for results.
Integrate varied data sources and assimilate the information into a comprehensive, clear narrative. Communicate results in a compelling and understandable message. Articulate understanding and awareness of business partner situation.
Identify and drive partnership with Azure engineering & finance for cross-functional cost efficiencies and resource optimization.
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and regulatory requirements by reviewing and monitoring accuracy of financial documents and business processes. Drive corrective measures. Consult with business partners on sharing financial information, approved instruments and processes, and consistency with corporate policies. Collaborate with Compliance groups to ensure team is current on company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
Minimum/Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.

Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast moving environments with evolving technology and business model trends
Ability to communicate complex analysis in a simple way. Executive level oral and written communication skills.
Proven leadership skills, with demonstrated results in proactively driving and delivering high value/high-impact project results through both individual and v-team efforts
Partnering capabilities, with the ability to influence others without direct authority and appropriately push back when required
Comfort working at multiple altitudes, from strategic/high-level projects to detailed COGS analysis
Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines, quickly prioritize for impact and the resourcefulness to deliver
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $96,500 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $123,500 - $206,400 per year.
