We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Finance Manager to help shape the future of our cloud products.
The organization's aim is to optimize our investments in cloud infrastructure while guiding down unit cost of capacity, ensuring cloud services achieve both profit and gross margin growth. All while enhancing transparency into Cloud Infrastructure investments and
safeguarding shareholder interest.
The Azure Margin - Product Allocations Team is chartered to lead the monthly Rhythm-of-the-Business (ROB) processes and provide deep insights into both Datacenter and Azure/Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) usage company wide. This team is critical to the success of the broader MSIO team as we provide subject matter expertise and reporting solutions that enable our finance, engineering, and business partners to drive toward their optimization and usage goals for margin performance.

The team is seeking a senior finance manager focusing on optimizing Azure & GPU usage by first parties across Microsoft. We are looking for an initiative-taking individual who has curiosity to learn the Azure & GPU businesses and wants to make impact through deep partnership with key finance stakeholders, continuous process improvements, and driving
business insight.
• Business partnering: partner across organizations, incl. Engineering, Artificial Intelligence Finance and other finance teams to support Azure usage and strategic initiatives for first parties, identify and drive best practices to meet gross margin goals.
• Financial modeling: build models to enable insights, surface actionable opportunities, drive the right behavior and support decision-making for engineering migrations, prioritization, and strategy.
• Financial analysis: conduct financial analysis and tell the story of Azure and GPU to provide critical input to measure progress and trends and articulate those findings to finance and engineering leadership to support decision making.

Qualifications
Required / Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR equivalent experience.Preferred Qualifications:

Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
