Delivering unit, revenue, Gross Margin (GM) and market share targets Developing deep understanding of Surface investment framework and (ROI) Return on Investment. We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Manager - Tools and Reporting who has a proven record of successfully building and supporting tools and processes for business stakeholders. A successful Senior Finance Manager - Tools and Reporting will be comfortable partnering closely with business stakeholders, understanding their business needs and scenarios, translate these into technical specifications and capability requirements, and subsequently work with our engineering and operations team to have these delivered. We are looking for a self-starter with a drive for making the complex simple, to lead a v-team in designing and implementing solutions and own the vision and implementation plan to simplify Microsoft Devices tools and processes. This is an opportunity to gain experience working across a breadth of Microsoft Devices and Accessories products while utilizing technical skills like Power BI, SQL Server, Advanced Excel and other BI related technologies.

Simplify, modernize and own Data Tools and Process across the Devices and Accessories business to streamline the development, scaling, maintenance and governance of the critical pricing tools and processes Collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups and individuals to enable end-to-end pricing data tool and process capabilities Lead design framework and help architect tool and process solutions to support Microsoft’s Devices business, resulting in actionable roadmaps through deep understanding of key business scenarios to define clear requirements Own the end-to-end vision and execution for Devices tools and processes including data management, project/sprint management, communications, requirement gathering, support orchestration, executive status updates, business partner relationship management, controls and compliance support and stakeholder training. Translate finance and business opportunities into a clear and consumable action plan by bridging business needs with technical specifications and capability requirements Develop and implement optimized tools & processes & instrumentation to enable best-in-class stakeholder supportOwn execution, change management and communication for tools and processes Work closely with the business finance team to deeply understand, define key business scenarios, and requirements Ensure all user-facing tools maintain data integrity, are updated via a consistent approach and follow agreed upon standards Communicate and oversee all stages of tool development, test and deployment. Identify and scale process improvements across complex business environment and evolving stakeholder sets. , Deliver best in class tools and capabilities for our business partners and users Embody our culture and values
Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR equivalent experiencePreferred/Additional Qualifications
Knowledge of Microsoft Tools and Systems Knowledge of hardware and accessories business Experience with Master Data processes and tools Knowledge of Microsoft Hierarchies Advanced SQL, PowerBI Modeling and Reporting authoring skills
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
