The Global Collections & Cash Management team is looking for a Senior Finance Manager to join the team. The Senior Finance Manager will partner across the broader GTFS organization. Cross organizational stakeholders will include M12 (Microsoft’s captive venture firm), Corporate Development, Central Finance Team (CFT), Treasury Controllers Group (TCG), Tax, Legal, as well as interfacing frequently with financial firms for trading, strategy, and expertise.

Strategic Investment portfolio (M12 and Corporate Development) end-to-end operational management including booking, documentation, reporting, hedging, monetization, and disposition Business partner engagement between Tax, TCG, Corporate External Legal Affairs (CELA), Treasury Operations and the business related to strategic investments Close engagement with internal/external counsel, M12/Corporate Development portfolio managers and investment companies to support interpretation of investment terms and implications  Lead execution and coordination of approvals to hedge or dispose of strategic investments Lead surveillance of new investment rounds and potential upcoming IPOs that could affect existing investment valuations Monthly and quarterly reporting of investment positions and related gains/losses for Other Income and Expense Ownership and project management of ad-hoc projects within the Strategic Investments space and GTFS Manage the ongoing hedging requirements of the Company’s Nonqualifed Deferred Compensations Plan Participate in GTFS global macro coverage supporting investment process and internal stakeholders across the Company

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business AND 5+ years’ experience with background in treasury, finance, banking, or accounting OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business AND 8+ years experience with background in treasury, finance, banking, or accountingOR Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Science in Finance (MSF) AND 5+ years experience with background in treasury, finance, banking, or accountingOR equivalent experience.Professional Treasury Certification (e.g. Chartered Financial Analyst [CFA], Certified Treasury Professional [CTP], Financial Risk Manager [FRM])Understanding of investment vehicles, hedge modeling and structuring and passion to learn about investment structures, startups, hedging and risk management.Deep understanding of capital markets including equity, fixed income and foreign exchange and derivate modeling and structuring Demonstrated communication skills and executive presenceThrives in a fast-paced environment, adept at managing multiple complex projects with varying deadlines Systems thinker with experience understanding dependency on tax, accounting, legal and regulatory aspects of a deal. Treasury IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
