Description
Microsoft Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) is a worldwide team of reactive and proactive Support specialists who live and work across 191 countries, supporting 46 different languages engaging in customer and partner interactions to drive digital transformation. The CE&S Support Finance Team acts as a sparring partner for Microsoft Worldwide (WW) Support business, a multi-billion dollar unit. The team partners heavily with corporate leadership groups and various field communities worldwide. The experiences span from digital transformation envision dialogs with customers, to delivery of services, customer support and engagement, and customer lifecycle involvement driving to customer success.The objective of the Finance team is to provide clarity, guidance, and business strategy to our customer support business ($6B+ in Full Year 2025). We partner with the business for the Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy of upcoming product offerings. We engage in business planning to ensure that new product offerings increase revenue, expand margin, and improve customer experience over the longer term.
We are looking for an experienced professional who can partner with business leaders in the GTM transformation and modernization of Support offerings in line with Cloud consumption expansion partner with our business. You will proactively partner with the business and be the intersection of our Partner and Unified businesses, developing analytics and providing recommendations on how to accelerate our Customer’s Journey in the Partner offer and especially the accelerated growth aspiration.
The Senior Finance Manager, Product Finance Strategy is a highly visible role that requires partnering with key stakeholders, including business leaders in CE&S and Engineering groups, and key Finance stakeholders across Microsoft. It’s an exciting role in CE&S within Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPs),
This position will report to the Support Offerings Strategy Finance Lead, and be a key part of the team, contributing to making critical decisions to drive business impact and help influence strategic transformation. Key point of contact in the Support transformation and launch of the New Partner Offer, while managing the entire depth of the Partner Support portfolio.Partner with the business on the Regulated Markets support opportunity as we develop the right offer.Focus additionally on any strategic projects in the Unified Enterprise space.Play a proactive role to guide the support offering specialists to structure the portfolio of offerings through an economic lens.Build robust financial models and decision support frameworks to optimize the offerings portfolio, drive topline revenue growth and profitability. Job 1 and Job 2.Work with the offerings team to drive changes to products to meet needs of customers and help increase conversion, retention and penetration of the Microsoft Account List and drive adoption of CoPilot.Partner with margin specialists in the team to assess the impact of the support offerings portfolio on the Enterprise Support P&L (Profit & Loss statement).Provide support to drive planning, measure and analyze against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with the offering strategy.Embody our culture and values
Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR equivalent experience.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experienceOR Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experienceOR equivalent experience.1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.Experience in project management, financial analysis, strategic or relationship management role(s). Ability to collaborate across teams to achieve results. Analytical and critical thinking skills.
Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
