Description

We are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our team as the Pipeline and Pricing Level Lead, as part of our Americas Central Analysis & Planning (CAP) Finance Team. The person in this role will be the expert on both Pipeline and Pricing Level performance across our organization, combining expertise in these two areas to provide a perspective on the health of our business and how we engage with our customers, along with a forward-looking view of what's ahead and key opportunities and risks. This role will on point to lead a critical function within Americas Finance and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our Microsoft Americas Commercial business.

This role is part of our Americas Central Analysis & Planning (CAP) Finance Team, responsible for central analysis and planning support for all revenue processes within the Americas Field Finance Team. We are part of the overall Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) Field Finance Organization.

Lead Pipeline thought leadership across the Americas Finance organization and serve as the expert on how we qualify, track, and win dealsReview opportunity-level insights to identify customer themes and learnings on how deals progress through their life cyclePartner with the Sales Team and Sales Enablement & Operations (SE&O) organization on Pipeline principles, metrics, and guidelinesConduct in-depth analysis of revenue performance across pricing levels to understand motion-level insightsDrive improvements in our pricing level analyses leveraging new frameworks such as Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) Partner across the broader Americas Finance Team to share guidance and best practices on Pipeline and Pricing Level insightsCombine expertise across Pipeline and Pricing Level to devise a forward-looking perspective on where our business is headed, opportunities and risks, and key dependenciesProvide ongoing updates to Finance and Business Leadership on Pipeline and Pricing Level performance

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.Preferred qualifications

1+ year(s) work experience in the technology or software industry.1+ year(s) work experience in matrix-based organization.1+ year(s) experience in multinationals with multi-product/multi-segment finance roles.Demonstrated analytical skills including financial modelingMasters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience

OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years of post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience OR equivalent experience.Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
