This central role supports the entirety of the multi-billion-dollar Xbox business to innovate, disrupt, and expand the gaming opportunity worldwide. In this role, you will focus on building holistic financial plans rooted in the Gaming strategic vision while pushing for a high bar of business growth through assessing opportunity sets, influencing product and content roadmaps, developing business, and pricing models, and supporting partnership/deal initiatives.
This Senior Finance Manager – Gaming Finance role will engage in extensive cross group collaboration across a wide set of stakeholders including product and service engineering, strategy, business planning, business development, marketing, and other finance teams. You will partner with the leaders and team members on the Xbox Finance team and Gaming Leadership team to drive growth and expand our total addressable market to the billions of gamers around the world.

Strategy
Investigates and provides an analysis of competitors, partners, business models, market sizing, and industry trends.Develops an understanding of Gaming’s product portfolio, strategic priorities, position, gaps, and potential opportunities.Analysis and Insights
Builds robust financial models and decision support frameworks with key partners to optimize the profitability of the Gaming portfolio, guide product and content roadmaps, and model opportunities for improvement.Partners with other Gaming finance and business planning teams to operationalize our strategic vision through target setting, KPI generation and tracking, and financial and engagement performance tracking.Communication
Delivers data-driven findings, recommendations, and implications to business partners to facilitate discussions and decision making.Communicates and advocates insights to business leaders and presents viewpoints with written documents (e.g., memos, reports, presentations) through multiple iterations of feedback and vetting.Business Partner Relationships

Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR equivalent experience.

Ability to effectively prioritize across multiple workstreams, have attention to detail, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability of operating in ambiguous settings and able to create clarity.Courage to share opinions and influence decisions.Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
