We are looking for a transformational finance leader for the MCAPS Finance business planning, strategy, and investment team. This team is accountable for resource allocation, driving seller productivity, performance, and business health with disciplined execution. This role leads multi‑year resource planning and transformation to optimize revenue growth and seller efficiency, including Frontier Sales evolution. Partners with the MCAPS Leadership Team translating strategic priorities into accountable resource blueprints, operating plans, and investment decisions. Drives finance transformation, simplification, and automation; leveraging AI to deliver operating leverage, improve resource planning quality, creating capacity for future investments.

Prioritize

Owns MCAPS business planning, strategy, and investment governance, driving end‑to‑end seller productivity and performance health.Leads MCAPS Finance planning, strategy, and investment teams to enable the shift to a Frontier Sales organization.Leads annuals resource planning and transformation to maximize revenue growth, seller efficiency, and operating leverage.Partners with MCAPS LT to translate top‑down priorities into accountable resource blueprints and operating plans.Provides direction and actionable insights to key stakeholders and orchestrates the rhythm of the seller productivity and health across the MCAPS organization.Ensures that organization and teams remain customer centric. Develops strong relationships with business and finance partners at senior levels. Develops capabilities of teams to engage and thrive with senior leaders. Manages balance between customer centricity, enablement of sales, and cost-effectiveness. Drives recommendations for solutions to complex financial issues with customers.

Partnership

Partners with senior business and commercial leaders to drive performance and strategy, optimizing ROI and shareholder return. Shapes decisions, aligns execution, mitigates risk, and resolves complex cross‑boundary issues through strong, trusted partnerships.Applies deep Microsoft, industry, and value‑driver expertise to ensure leaders receive the most relevant insights, risks, and recommendations to execute strategy. Uses credibility and judgment to attract, develop, and inspire high‑performing finance talent.Designs and implements new financial, resource, or investment analytics and decision frameworks that improve how data is collected, evaluated, and used driving impact at scale and supporting Microsoft’s long‑term growth priorities.Leverages advanced tools, automation, and AI‑enabled capabilities in partnership with Microsoft experts to increase productivity, data autonomy, and operating leverage. Elevates data management, accuracy, and speed through disciplined automation.Translates complex, multi‑year and ambiguous data into clear, forward‑looking narratives including forecasts, scenarios, and performance insights that enable confident decision‑making. Drives clarity and alignment with senior leaders through concise storytelling and pattern recognition.Generates actionable plans from complex and uncertain inputs and coaches teams to convert data into simple, compelling insights. Builds shared understanding across stakeholders and maintains critical partnerships with MCAPS Sales Execution & Operations, Regions, WSS, and partner finance teams.Other

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 8+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 10+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related field OR equivalent experience.1+ year(s) experience managing direct reports.

Financial Analysis M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $277,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $303,600 per year.
