Description

The Central Gaming Marketing (CGM) Team is seeking an Executive Business Administrator (EBA) to support the VP Central Gaming Marketing, be a part of the CGM Leadership team, lead the CGM EBA community, and assist with other team support. Central Gaming Marketing is a fun, fast-paced, and exciting organization at Microsoft, there is always something happening!

The Executive Business Administrator will report to the VP of Central Gaming Marketing. This exciting role requires strong collaboration skills, a high level of confidence in judgment, superior organizational skills, great attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and strength in navigating and juggling multiple priorities. Respect, inclusivity, integrity, and discretion handling confidential information, and a high level of professionalism dealing with partners inside and outside the company across the globe is extremely important.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete work quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without always having the total picture. This role has an in-office requirement, in Redmond, WA of 3-4 days per week.

Manage and maintain a complex calendar daily to ensure accurate scheduling and organizationMake decisions on behalf of leadership (LT) members to ensure meeting requests meet agreed upon time management priorities and performance objectivesCoordinate domestic and international travel, including on-the-ground logisticsTrack budgets and manage expenses in a compliant and timely mannerCoordinate scheduling and logistics of team meetings, All-Hands, events and offsites, including venue selection, meeting details, and material preparationProvide team support, including headcount management, budget, morale events, DL management, and other tasks/projectsManage space coordination, new employee setup, and procurement of goods and services – including computer equipment, office supplies, reference materials and facility requests.Build and maintain good business relationships with administrative staff both internally and externally.Work as part of a highly collaborative, very energetic, Gaming LT EBA and CGM EBA teams to manage the needs of the overall organization and provide help and back-up as needed

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level managementExperience planning and scheduling eventsExperience with MS Office and Productivity software including Word, Outlook, Teams, and ExcelExperience managing and maintaining a complex calendar to ensure accurate scheduling and organizationExperience coordinating domestic and international travel, including on-the-ground logisticsExperince tracking budgets and manage expensesExperience coordinating scheduling and logistics of team meetings, All-Hands, events and offsites, including venue selection, meeting details, and material preparationExperience providing team support, including headcount management, budget, morale events, DL management, and other tasks/projectsPreferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology)OR equivalent experienceExperience serving as mentor to othersExperience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training)Excellent organizational and interpersonal skillsWorks well under pressure and within short time constraintsAbility to prioritize work and complete projects on time, demonstrate drive and initiative, maintain confidentiality of information Ability to pay close attention to detail and able to monitor complex plans and schedules and react with appropriate urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turn around Able to work successfully in a team environment, build effective working relationships internally and externally with varying levels of collaborators and accommodate working styles and perspectives of diverse individuals and groupsExperience reviewing and managing administrative budgetsAttention to detail, problem-solving, organization, time management, and communication skillsThrive in a global team environment, building effective cross-group relationships at all organizational levelsAdapt to diverse work styles and perspectives and respond urgently to changing situationsExercise professionalism, integrity, and tact, especially with confidential informationBusiness Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $28.46 - $48.80 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $39.76 - $55.67 per hour.
