The Monetization and Business Planning (M+BP) team at Microsoft develops monetization strategies for our commercial and consumer products, contributing to over $100 billion in annual revenue. As growth strategists, we focus on driving product innovation and operational excellence. Our team includes business planners, data scientists, economists, operations specialists, admins, and researchers.
We are seeking a skilled executive business administrator to join our admin team in support of a Vice President and their organization. This role supports leaders who value flexibility, inclusive team engagement, and a mission-driven culture. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings a proactive and strategic mindset, and is passionate about their role as a business support professional. A key expectation of this role is the ability to effectively leverage AI and Microsoft Copilot to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and continuously build proficiency in emerging tools.

Responsibilities
Complex calendar management with attention to details, accuracy, timeliness, conflict resolution and alignment to the leader’s priorities and commitments.Track and report on key administrative metrics such as budget accuracy, onboarding efficiency, and meeting readiness to demonstrate impact.Timely and accurate reconciliation and interim approval of expenses.Partnership with other admins, business managers, and operations leads across M+BP, Marketing, and adjacent stakeholder teams to drive alignment and execution. Coordination and logistical support for onsite and offsite meetings/events including team meetings, morale events, team trainings, and leadership offsites.Headcount management, org chart maintenance, and distribution group ownership and management.Team support including overseeing onboarding logistics and ensuring seamless provisioning of tools and resources to enable productivity from day one.Compliance with administrative operations policies and procedures.Occasional backup coverage for other admins.Efficient and effective responsiveness into existing operations and help define operational strategies. Special assignments and projects leadership and support as needed.Directs continual implementation and flexibility of the ROB in partnership with peers (e.g., Business Managers and executive Chief of Staff). Ensures team members follow ROB and map their planning to established cadences.Draws from and utilizes internal/external network to support the executive leader's work and priorities. Uses executive maturity, independent judgment, discretion, business insights, and perspectives to drive collaboration and communication. Communicates with executive external partners and third parties. Represents the office and acts as an extension of manager/team's brand and the company's core values through written and verbal communication.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualifications
5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper level management. Preferred Qualifications5+ years administrative support in a fast paced and complex environment, supporting an executive manager and team.Excellent organizational, anticipatory, and written communication skillsAbility to prioritize work and complete projects on time, demonstrate drive and initiative, maintain confidentiality of information.Strong people and org culture orientation, self-directed, assertive, with a positive attitudeProficiency and hands-on working experience with Microsoft products and internal tools.Careful attention to detail and follow-through while adapting to changing circumstancesProactive anticipation of managers needs and able to work independently to make administrative decisions and requests for information on their behalf.Must be adaptable and work successfully in a team environment, building and maintaining effective working relationships with a diverse group of contributors internally and externally.Must maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive material and information with discretion and professionalism.
Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $30.29 - $50.53 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $41.83 - $57.88 per hour.
