The Azure Customer Reliability Engineering (CRE) team is looking for an experienced Executive Business Administrator to support a Corporate Vice President engineering manager. We are looking for someone who is highly organized, communicates effectively, shows strategic initiative, and has the ability to set priorities and deliver on multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal guidance. You will need to demonstrate proven planning and organizational skills and have built effective working relationships. Additionally, you will identify support gaps and develop and implement solutions that contribute to the overall success of the leader and the team. This position offers a great opportunity to work closely with an executive leader, their team, and make a meaningful impact on the organization.

This hybrid role is scoped for up to 50% WFH

Provide strategic calendar and time planning support for CVP, and manage calendar and logistics based on manager and business needs and will also strengthen a cross-organizational network to enable teamwork. Partner with senior leaders and Chiefs of Staff on building and managing annual rhythm of business (ROB), including fiscal year calendar and executive meeting schedule. Strategically communicates ROB cadence and helps to manage workloads, as needed.   Manage travel and expenses. Coordinating travel arrangements (e.g., accommodations, transportation, security) for manager(s) and/or group. Creating detailed itineraries/agendas for daily activities by setting and managing travel expectations to maximize trip productivity and managing all travel logistics to maximize trip itineraries. Provide leadership by actively participating in the Business Support community and mentoring Business Support professionals and lead team experience activities and delegate onboarding. Manage, plan, and develop events, leading a team of event planners if needed and balance multiple complex projects and timelines end to end. Create and oversee Teams channel access and Outlook distribution lists with a lens to accuracy and ensuring the right people are receiving the right information at the right time. You will partner with the business management team on this and other special projects. Oversee space-management processes and team spaces, driving changes and future needs based on data and coordinate travel arrangements with Executive Travel and create detailed itineraries for daily activities.  Other:  Embody our culture and values

5+ years Administrative, Business Support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive/upper-level managementOR equivalent experience2+ years of experience in providing strategic calendar and time planning support for senior managers, including shifting calendar invitesOR equivalent experience Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $28.46 - $48.80 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $39.76 - $55.67 per hour.
