As an Edge Site Operations Regional Program Manager, you will perform a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. Edge Site Operations is the organization responsible for deploying and maintaining collocated facilities globally that provide low latency and reliable connectivity for Microsoft Cloud Services to our customers. The Edge Site Operations Regional Program Manager will help drive the delivery of world-class support services across the region. You will interact and maintain relationships with various authorities and partners across all sectors of the Datacenter industry. You will use keen business acumen and financial management skills to manage operating costs effectively, while maintaining the highest standards of safety, security, and ecological responsibility

Responsibilities
As a successful Edge Site Operations Regional Program Manager, your success will be measured by:
Contributing to and promoting the edge global and regional strategyDriving the delivery of global and regional initiatives within the edge programFostering strong relationships with Azure and our partners, representing ESO and ensuring proper operationalization of new servicesCollaborating with partner teams, who support contracting, deployment signaling, engineering, security, design & build, and compliance, to ensure seamless site operation across the regional ESO teamCollaborate with regional Edge management and teams to contribute to improvement programsAccountable for ensuring development, creation, and alignment of process that’s edge specific and driving global aliment
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Experience with IT-related projects and/or program managementExperience with operations in a physical IT and/or Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g. Production Datacenter, pre-production lab, etc.)Willingness and flexibility to work non-core business hours, or other scenarios required by rhythm of the businessCapability and maintained provisions (Passport, status, etc.) for international travelFluency in the English language (written and verbal)
Background Check Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Preferred Qualifications:
College degree, certification(s) or equivalent work experienceAt least two years’ experience working across teams of multiple disciplines and collaborating with diverse, technical workforcesA solid understanding of financial management, budgeting, and forecastingAwareness of IT Service Operations fundamentals and principles. (ITIL, MOF, OLA/SLA, CSI, etc.) Project or program management experience and certification(s) (e.g. Six Sigma, Kaizen, PMI, etc.)Knowledge of physical IT infrastructures (e.g. Servers, Networking, Capacity, DC Rack/Enclosures, structured cabling, etc.) Knowledge of critical environmental concepts and infrastructure (e.g. Electrical Distribution, Mechanical Cooling Systems, etc.)
