Join the Consumer Sales Organization Gaming Digital Microsoft Storefronts team as we deepen our understanding of player engagement, monetization performance, and financial outcomes.The Xbox ecosystem is home to millions of passionate players and thousands of innovative content creators. Our Microsoft Storefronts team plays a key role in connecting players to the games and experiences they love—through curated discovery, smart pricing, and performance-driven tactics.
We’re looking for a Senior eCommerce Manager to lead our performance analysis and reporting efforts. In this role, you’ll take ownership of surfacing the insights that explain how we're pacing against targets, why certain strategies succeed, and where we should adjust tactics next. You'll partner closely with the Business Manager and cross-functional leaders to ensure our business reviews translate data into action across teams.
You’ll play a critical role in informing our $1B+ promotional strategy and influencing external commerce partner engagement. By leveraging player data to identify what delivers the most value—and why—you’ll conduct deep-dive behavioral analyses that power persuasive publisher case studies. These insights will spotlight revenue-driving tactics, strengthen partner trust, and drive sustained engagement growth across our platform.

Rhythm of Business (RoB) Enablement: Partner closely with the Business Manager to support the full RoB cadence. Drive the development of data-backed insights that clarify how the business is pacing against weekly, monthly, and annual targets. Ensure that executive reviews clearly articulate what’s working, what’s not, and why, enabling strategic action across the team.Player Behavior & Trend Discovery: Conduct deep analyses of player actions across store portfolio segments and monetization models. Identify emerging behavioral trends that can inform store promotional tactics.Publisher Growth Case Development: Engage with the store partner enablement team to create data-driven case studies. Use real-world performance insights to help publishers understand how to better succeed on our platform—whether through pricing, bundling, endpoint optimization, or promotional targeting.Insight-Driven Recommendations: Use performance data to proactively identify areas of opportunity and risk. Deliver crisp, actionable recommendations that help the business optimize promotions, pricing, and merchandising in a way that drives revenue and player value.Team Insight Support & Cross-Functional Alignment: Act as the primary analytics partner for our team—fielding, prioritizing, and fulfilling analysis requests tied to performance, player behavior, and monetization. Ensure insights are delivered with speed, accuracy, and relevance. Serve as our advocate with internal data partners—aligning on KPIs, methodologies, and tooling needs to ensure we have the right infrastructure and support.
Qualifications
Required/minimum qualificationsMaster's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR 5+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.Demonstrated ability to lead performance analysis and reporting efforts that translate complex player behavior and monetization data into actionable business insights.
Additional or preferred qualificationsMaster's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 5+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR 7+ years experience in retail, ecommerce, data science, research, marketing or business-related roles OR equivalent experience.5+ years experience in go to market (GTM), marketing strategy, business planning, or similar roles.5+ years experience in integrated, digital or product marketing management.3+ years project/vendor management experience.2+ Gaming Anlytics/ player behaviour
eCommerce IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
