Description
OverviewMicrosoft Plus works across all of Microsoft's consumer apps and services on Windows and Mobile โ including Windows, M365, Edge/Bing, Copilot, and Xbox โ to drive adoption, engagement, and retention at scale. The biggest barrier to growing usage of Microsoft's apps and services is awareness and discoverability. Hundreds of millions of people use Windows and mobile devices every day without knowing what Microsoft makes available to them. We are looking for a Director, Product Marketing, to lead a team of marketers responsible for advancing growth across Microsoft's apps and services on Windows PCs and mobile devices. This is a people manager role for a senior, full-stack marketer whose primary skill is product-led growth โ someone who knows how to partner with engineering teams to design and run in-product experiments that drive awareness, discoverability, and adoption.
This candidate also brings inbound and outbound marketing skills and can operate with equal effectiveness across growth, inbound, and outbound motions. This role requires operating in a highly cross-organizational environment, navigating ambiguity, and aligning multiple teams around a shared growth vision. This role is anchored in product-led growth, shaping how Microsoft surfaces value across in-product experiences in close partnership with multiple engineering organizations across Microsoft. The role also encompasses inbound marketing to understand user needs and inform what product experiences should be built, and outbound marketing via email and web to nurture awareness and engagement with apps and services on Windows. This leader will be accountable for driving measurable business impact at scale, owning awareness, adoption, engagement, and retention outcomes across Microsoft's consumer ecosystem.
Microsoftโs mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
