Our team is passionate about enabling customers to innovate quickly with AI capabilities, migrate and modernize their workloads, and realize value from their data through near-real-time insights.We are seeking a Director, Product Marketing - Azure & AI Adoption to drive our strategy to deliver guidance, resources, best practices and tools that is clear and actionable, aligned to Azure Solution Plays priorities and supporting hero customer use cases that accelerate Azure and AI adoption.

Defining the core marketing strategy and product positioning for Azure Essentials and other core products and programs designed to accelerate adoption journey.Curating high impact messaging and core product themes and pillars aligned to customer value, AI use cases and impact, surfacing these themes consistently through a proactive messaging and content program that aligns core messaging, and major product themes to new product introductions, partner expansion, major events and launches and key solution milestones along with proactive initiatives aimed at core customer audiences.Driving market momentum for Azure Essentials, identifying and directing marketing strategies for customer adoption and customer advocacy. This includes identifying target audiences, market and competitive trends, defining the end-to-end customer journey and partnering across marketing to create clear and tangible product value.Partnering across multiple business units and our global partner organization to achieve awareness and engagement. Create a feedback loop with sales, partners and Solution Play pods to ensure their buy in, utilization and continuous improvement.Delivering sales enablement and field support, including ongoing collaboration across the sales, partner, and engineering organizations to develop sales ready collateral to support new product announcements, content updates, portfolio changes and annual solution programs. Develop content that best resonates with customer value and drive to high utilization and value with global field and partner teams.Supporting major launch moments, executive disclosures, corporate events and key industry milestones to communicate this strategy clearly, consistently and with maximum impact.Driving Portfolio Planning to ensure that product roadmaps for Microsoft Cost Management and Azure Advisor are launched with clarity and that new and enhanced products advance Microsoft leadership and strategic marketing themes.Provide leadership and mentorship to the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.Embody our Culture and Values
Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in experience in product marketing, with a focus on cloud services or enterprise software.OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 4+ years experience in experience in product marketing, with a focus on cloud services or enterprise software.OR equivalent experience. 4+ years direct people management experience or indirect people management experience (or virtual teams).4+ years experience working in the cloud solutions and/or AI arena. Experience executing and/or designing marketing strategies that drive customer adoption.Experience interpreting data to make data driven decisions. Experience leading or building messaging and/or value propositions for products.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 12+ years experience in experience in product marketing, with a focus on cloud services or enterprise software.OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in experience in product marketing, with a focus on cloud services or enterprise software.OR equivalent experience. 6+ years people management experience.
Product Marketing M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $248,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $268,900 per year.
