Description
We are seeking an experienced, customer-obsessed Director of Product Management to lead product strategy and execution for Azure Experiences & Ecosystems (AX&E). This team is responsible for shaping how users experience Azure—from the portal and onboarding flows to integrated tooling and self-serve growth loops.In this role, you will lead a team of product managers to define and deliver intuitive, intelligent, and scalable experiences that support a wide range of customers—from individual developers to large global enterprises. You will set the vision, align cross-functional stakeholders, and guide your team to execute with excellence in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Define Product Strategy: Develop and communicate a compelling vision and long-term strategy for the Azure Experiences portfolio that aligns with Microsoft's broader cloud goals.Lead High-Impact Teams: Manage and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on customer outcomes, experimentation, and innovation.Drive Execution: Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery of features and end-to-end customer journeys by partnering closely with engineering, design, research, marketing, and go-to-market teams.Customer & Market Insights: Deeply understand customer needs, industry trends, and competitive dynamics to inform product priorities and differentiation.Metrics & Accountability: Establish clear OKRs and success metrics for your area. Use data to measure impact, prioritize investments, and communicate progress with clarity.Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering, design, data science, and field stakeholders to ensure seamless execution and go-to-market alignment.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree AND 10+ years experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.6+ years people management experience.Other Qualifications:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
Bachelor's Degree AND 12+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or software development OR equivalent experience.8+ years people management experience.
Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.
