Description

We are seeking a dynamic, passionate, and experienced Director of Operations, Xbox Film/TV, to drive the strategic communications and operational excellence of our film and television initiatives as part of the broader Xbox ecosystem.

Reporting to the General Manager of Xbox Film/TV, the ideal candidate will possess a significant background in business and marketing strategy and planning, communications, and centralized operations. This person will play a pivotal role in helping to drive the seamless integration of our entertainment initiatives into our overall Xbox business and is responsible for helping to operationalize the execution of our entertainment strategy.

Business Strategy and Planning

Refine and implement strategic plans to drive growth and innovation within the Xbox Film/TV division as part of our Xbox ecosystem.Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.Work with Film/TV leadership to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of strategic initiatives and impact on our franchises.Collaborate with leadership to align business objectives with overall company goals.Operations

Develop and support a centralized repository for all show and project-related information, ensuring that it is easily accessible and up-to-date. This includes creating and managing databases, document management systems, and other tools to store and organize information.Implement best practices and operational standards to optimize workflows and processes across a variety of projects and teams.Integrate technology solutions and tools to enhance efficiency and collaboration within the team.Communications

Develop and maintain clear, consistent, and effective communication channels across all levels of the organization aligned with business goals.Create and deliver high-impact presentations and reports for senior management and key stakeholders.Serve as a liaison between internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.Foster a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Communications, Film/TV Production or related field AND 8+ years' work experience in program management, process management, process improvement OR equivalent experience.5+ years' experience in strategic operations, marketing/business planning, or a related field within the entertainment industry.Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex projects and initiatives.Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Solid communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities.Proficiency in project management software and tools.Passion for film, television, and the entertainment industry.Business Program Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
