The Director of Integrated Marketing, Consumer Marketing Organization (CMO) will lead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing strategies that drive consumer engagement and brand loyalty across the consumer portfolio listed above. This role requires a dynamic leader with a proven track record in integrated marketing, strategic thinking, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and departments.

In this role, you will work closely with product marketing teams to tell a unifying story across all of Microsoft’s consumer products and services and measure campaign results. To be successful, you need to have experience thriving in a culture of creativity, enjoy creating clarity from ambiguity, and be energized by taking on new challenges. You need proven skills leading teams and developing people, working across organizations, displaying business acumen, and showcase project management depth and breadth daily. As a leader, delivering success will include attracting and growing talent, driving full-funnel marketing strategy that achieves measurable business impact and growth targets.

Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies that align with Microsoft's overall business objectives and brand vision.Lead cross-functional teams to execute marketing campaigns with a digital-native mindset.Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and brand consistency across all consumer touchpoints.Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies and identify growth opportunities.Manage and optimize marketing budgets to achieve maximum ROI and efficiency.Oversee the creation of compelling marketing content and creative assets that resonate with target audiences.Foster relationships with external partners, agencies, and vendors to enhance marketing efforts.Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and tactics.Drive innovation and experimentation in marketing approaches to stay ahead of industry trends and consumer expectations. Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 5+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related work experienceOR equivalent experience.5+ years of experience in integrated marketing, with a focus on consumer marketing.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 7+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experienceOR Master's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Public Relations, or related field AND 3+ years integrated marketing (e.g., digital, relationship, social media, campaign), event management, marketing strategy, business planning, marketing operations, or related experienceOR equivalent experience.3+ years people management experience.Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proven presentation skills, able to articulate and justify your ideas and recommendations with clarity and confidence. Experience managing large marketing budgets and optimizing spend for maximum impact. Deep understanding of digital marketing channels, social media platforms, and content marketing strategies. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Passion for innovation and staying current with industry trends and best practices. A collaborative and inclusive work style, able to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders across different levels and functions. A consumer-centric customer approach, able to understand and anticipate the needs and preferences of our target audiences. A growth mindset and a curiosity for learning, willing to experiment, iterate, and adapt to changing environments and feedback.Integrated Marketing M5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $248,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $268,900 per year.
