Lead a team of Demand Planners and S&OE Managers, responsible for driving optimal channel inventory to maximize revenue opportunities, ensure key customers and opportunities are supported across all of our customer segments while mitigating risks (excess, aged and stranded inventory)Partner closely and lead decision-making with Go-To-Market, Sales, and Finance cross-functional partners as well as internal Regional Channel, S&OP, Supply Strategists, and Planners to drive long-term sell through and sell in demand plans to achieve financial and operations targets.Oversee and direct product transition strategies ensuring that Microsoft is balancing customer and financial expectations with the product life cycle roadmaps.Drive results and be accountable for key performance metrics, including root cause investigation and leading cross-team efforts to drive necessary improvementsYou’ll also be responsible for instituting and strategic process changes into our systems and processes, developing new reporting tools to improve supply chain visibility and accuracy, and driving implementation and adoption of new capabilities. Qualifications
Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field AND 10+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply/forecasting), cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experience OR equivalent experience.2+ year(s) people management experience in a multi-national organization with complex matrix organization.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, Information Technology (IT), Business, Operations, Finance, Accounting, Data Science, or related field AND 15+ years supply chain, inventory management or sales operations experience, preferably in planning (demand/supply/forecasting), cloud industry experience, infrastructure, data science, and/or channel management experienceOR equivalent experience.5+ years people management experience in a multi-national organization with complex matrix organization.
Demand Planning M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
