We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Director, Marketing Technology Solutions Architect leader who thrives at the intersection of ecommerce innovation and cutting-edge marketing technology. Responsibilities

Design and scale a cross-platform architecture (Catalog, CMS, Marketing Tools, AI) and define standards for scalability, reliability, and disaster recovery to ensure adaptability and business continuity. Lead technical scoping and solution design for new use cases and proof-of-concepts, applying advanced problem-solving skills and technical leadership to deliver innovative solutions. Conduct tooling assessments and future-state planning, ensuring readiness for emerging trends and evolving business needs. Own ROI analysis and performance measurement for current and future tool investments, aligning technology outcomes with strategic objectives through data-driven decision-making. Apply advanced AI/ML techniques—including generative models, reinforcement learning, and real-time decisioning—to optimize workflows and accelerate delivery. Develop frameworks, documentation, and enablement resources while championing change management and digital transformation to foster adoption and continuous improvement. Serve as a trusted advisor on MarTech architecture and AI-driven solutions, influencing internal stakeholders and external partners with strategic thought leadership. Drive strategic partner engagement (e.g., Adobe) to shape the roadmap and architecture for next-generation marketing technology. Ensure MarTech solutions adhere to privacy, security, and compliance standards, safeguarding customer trust and organizational integrity. Embody our culture and values.

Qualifications

Required/minimum qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 10+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experienceOR equivalent experience. Additional or preferred qualificationsMaster's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 12+ years of marketing operations, program management, project management, or related experienceOR equivalent experience.6+ years in designing marketing technology solution architecture with technology/process improvement experience.

Marketing Technology IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
