Key to our aspirations, the Customer Solutions Area (CSA) organization plays a critical role, operating at the center of our Commercial business, to define, land and operate our Commercial go-to-market (GTM), connecting sales, marketing and engineering with field, customers and partners to bring ideas and products from incubation to scale across all customers we serve, and in every market.

As part of the Innovation & Acceleration organization within CSA, the Strategy and Operations team works across our Solution Area teams and the broader Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions organizations, to build and deliver “core and common” capabilities that empower our field while accelerating the growth of our business.

As the Director, Business Strategy-Technical Enablement Lead, you will play a critical role in defining and driving foundational and consistent approaches to the Solution Area-aligned technical roles (Solution Engineer) and communities, partnering closely with our Solution Area-specific Enablement teams, Worldwide Learning and other technical role owners. You will ensure that across regions and Solution Areas, we have a common definition to technical proficiency, clear roadmaps and skilling plans that provide exciting learning moments that ensure our technical roles are equipped with the capabilities needed to deliver on customer outcomes and aspirations.

Responsibilities

Primary accountabilities include:

Defining Role Excellence: Aligned to Solution Area and broader business priorities, you will play a leadership role, partnering across relevant stakeholders, to define “core and common” role expectations, skilling proficiency and skilling plans.Program Planning and Development: Develop, guide, and manage learning programs and initiatives for relevant audiences by identifying organizational needs, securing resources, influencing senior stakeholders, and prioritizing work. Drive alignment of larger learning and skilling capabilities to the strategy of the organization for the most impact. Program Success Analysis and Metrics: Define and disseminate key performance indicators (KPIs) and the data story broadly with relevant stakeholders and make recommendations for how to achieve target metrics. Drive assessment and change management of learning programs and content to determine how they are being consumed by stakeholders. Acts as a subject matter expert of the competition and landscape to improve company offeringsContent Review and Confirmation: Serve as a thought leader to review learning and development solutions and best practices in the industry with internal and external clients. Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy. Understand and apply customer/learner sentiments.Field Landing & Readiness: Lead learning immersions and enablement campaigns with personalization to the region, acting as a close partner to and connector across WW Learning, Regional Sales Enablement & Operations Enablement teams, Microsoft Customer & Partner Solutions Core Enablement teams, Marketing, and Engineering.Community Evangelism & Best Practice Sharing: Serve as “chief evangelist” for the targeted roles, fostering cross-organization, cross-region community development that drives connection, collaboration and shared learning. Facilitate cross-team collaboration to surface best practices and success stories that inspire and inform.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or related field AND 5+ years experience in business consulting, sales, sales operations, information technology (IT), account management, business development, marketing, IT field sales, or a related fieldOR equivalent experience.6+ years experience in in Near Term Strategy (2 years out), Management Consulting, Sales, or Finance.

Additional or Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree in Business Administration or related field AND 5+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, banking, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field AND 7+ years of marketing, strategy, sales, sales leadership, program management, project management, business planning, consulting, finance, economics, and/or partner organization experienceOR equivalent experience.

Sales Strategy Enablement IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $130,900 - $251,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $165,600 - $272,300 per year.
