Description
The Microsoft Global Media Team is responsible for planning, activating and fiscally managing all media spend across Microsoft. The team works across a broad group of internal Microsoft products and business groups, driving business impact by leading the development of innovative and world-class media strategies designed to meet our stakeholders’ unique business goals. The team’s responsibilities extend to driving market intelligence and contributing to Microsoft’s media innovation across media channels and ad tech.We are seeking a passionate and inspired Digital Media Specialist - Demand Generation to join the Demand Gen Media team within Global Media. The ideal candidate will have experience in the media landscape, with a focus on demand generation, lead generation and account-based marketing (ABM). In this role, you will manage paid media strategy, planning, and execution for lead generation and account-based marketing campaigns supporting Microsoft’s commercial products portfolios. You will partner closely with various internal teams across Microsoft to achieve meaningful and successful results for our stakeholders.

Paid Campaign Strategy, Execution, & Performance Management
Help Microsoft achieve commercial demand generation business goals by leading the development of innovative performance media strategies and plans, working with our agency to ensure accurate media execution and optimization, and delivering campaign reporting and insights to stakeholders. Apply your knowledge of paid media to recommend plans that deliver efficient and effective media mixes, innovation and testing that achieve campaign goals. Utilize analytics and data insights to drive media performance. Ensure fiscal compliance by partnering closely with internal and agency finance and media partners to ensure all campaigns stay within budget parameters and comply with finance requirements. Ensure accurate campaign creative delivery, tagging, naming conventions, and brand safety protocols by coordinating closely with stakeholders, ad operations, and agency teams. Build relationships with internal Microsoft marketing product teams to learn and understand their business objectives and campaign goals. Inspire other team members to collaborate effectively together and work across campaigns to develop a seamless consumer journey. Media Industry Experience & Innovation
Demonstrate interest and understanding of media trends across demand generation and media landscape, content syndication, social, display, audio, search and programmatic tactics and the unique role each one should play to deliver meaningful media efforts grounded in audience insights, data, and measurement plan.Help advance Microsoft’s thought-leadership and testing within ad/media/data landscape to combat industry challenges. Required/Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Business, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or related field AND 2+ years experience in media, marketing, or advertising on the client or agency sideOR equivalent experience.2 + years experience in the lead generation space 2 + years experience in business to business (b2b) marketing, in the technology industry. 2+ years experience in commercial pay-per-lead media tactics Additional or Preferred Qualifications
6+ years experience in the lead generation space6+ years experience working across digital media channels (e.g., pay-per-lead, social, serch engine marketing (SEM), programmatic buying, addressable TV).6+ years experience using data-driven media tactics, including advanced targeting models, measurement and learning plans, making optimizations based on data.6+ years experience managing projects (e.g., communications, internal stakeholder management timelines, prioritization, road mapping).Experience working for a content syndication partnerExperience using Microsoft technology and devicesMedia IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $83,400 - $167,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $108,900 - $183,000 per year.
