As a Design Program Manager II supporting the entire CxD Studio, you’ll play a key role in driving operational and project management excellence across cross-functional, horizontal initiatives. This role is all about enabling smooth, effective collaboration on studio-wide programs that support CxD’s mission. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are well-planned, documented, and executed to meet objectives and deadlines. As a member of our DesignOps team, you will contribute to our charter of better cross-product integration, more solid customer experiences, improved efficiencies at scale, and ultimately a healthy and solid design culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the CxD Studio to support horizontal initiatives and programs.Facilitate project planning, tracking, and updates to ensure goals are met on schedule.Manage project documentation, including capturing decisions, action items, and outcomes for effective knowledge-sharing and project tracking.Organize and maintain project rhythms, ensuring that meetings, check-ins, and reviews run smoothly.Hold project contributors accountable for deliverables supporting project momentum and success.Develop and manage communication strategies to keep contributors and stakeholders informed and engaged throughout project lifecycles fostering team alignment.Support and enhance collaboration across teams by promoting project management best practices and smooth information flow.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience.3+ years of experience in project management in a design, tech, or creative environment.Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 3+ years experience working in product or service design OR Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, User Experience, Interaction Design, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in product or service design OR equivalent experience (e.g., demonstrated experience working in product or service design or using design thinking to solve problems).Proven ability to manage project deliverables and track progress with multiple teams across the business.Familiarity with project management best practices, tools, and methodologies.

Solid organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting and communicating project needs.

Product Design IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
