OverviewJoin The Worldwide Global Deal Desk Team within Microsoft’s Worldwide Commercial Finance organization reporting to Microsoft’s CFO. This team is dedicated to collaborating with sales teams, customers and partners to create win-win solutions. As a Deal Specialist, you can build an extensive network and develop your career opportunities at an accelerated pace by regularly engaging with various teams across all parts of Microsoft. In this role, you will be making decisions using insights and trends to increase revenue for Azure, Microsoft 365 and Dynamics, while simplifying business processes to increase deal velocity.

Responsibilities
Accountable for making decisions regarding concessions to drive deals to closure, but minimizing risk to Microsoft and landing good profitable business.
Ensure sales and negotiation strategies adhere to established guidelines, policies and legal standards.
Collaborate with sales, legal and business groups to identify customer blockers/enablers.
Manage customer contractual needs after a licensing agreement has been signed, ensuring we continue a good relationship with every customer past negotiations.
Own communicating and highlighting business trends to help the team and business operate more effectively and find efficiencies to improve deal velocity. You will highlight, propose and coordinate key improvements to processes and empower changes.
Find new and programmatic solutions on how to process customer needs throughout the licensing process.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 2+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvementOR equivalent experience.
Preferred or Additional Qualifications:
Experience in Cloud technologies, SaaS and digital transformation
Analytical skills, problem solving and business judgment skills across a range of disciplines
Effective written and oral communication in cross-group collaboration and project management skills
Experience influencing positive outcomes without direct authority
Ability to engage across all levels of the organization from executives to individual contributors
Ability to learn and adapt to change in a frequently changing environment, with complex stakeholder structures, while making decisions with incomplete information
Business Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $76,800 - $151,900 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $100,800 - $168,000 per year.
