You will understand where to acquire the data necessary for your project plan and use querying, visualization, and reporting techniques to describe that data. You’ll also explore data for key attributes and collaborate with others to perform data science experiments using established methodologies.You will understand modeling techniques, select the correct tool and approach to complete objectives, and evaluate the output for statistical and business significance. You’ll also analyze model performance and incorporate customer feedback into its evaluation.You will understand the current state of the industry, including current trends, so that you can contribute to thought leadership best practices. You’ll also write efficient code for a specific feature, and develop a working expertise of proper debugging techniques.Build dashboards, reports and solutions that enable teams to track key performance indicators and make data-informed decisions.Drive improvements through design reviews, code reviews, and test case reviews, integrating DevOps principles.Build code to extract raw data, validate its quality, and apply your deep data knowledge to ensure the correct data is ingested and integrated across the data platform. Identify opportunities to leverage and contribute to the development of data tools that are used to transform, manage, and access data.Manage critical platform issues as they occur, working with our global team on ensuring platform availability and alignment to our agile sprint planning process.
Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:Doctorate in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related fieldOR Master's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 1+ year(s) data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) or consulting experienceOR Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years data-science experience (e.g., managing structured and unstructured data, applying statistical techniques and reporting results) or consulting experienceOR equivalent experience.1+ year(s) customer-facing, project-delivery experience, professional services, and/or consulting experience.1+ year(s) of experience in SQL, Python and experience with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
1+ year(s) experience working with large datasets and big data technologies (e.g., Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Databricks, Spark, or equivalent).Other Requirements:

1+ year(s) experience with Data Factory, Azure Logic Apps, CI / CD and large scale analytical platforms.
Candidate must be comfortable manipulating and analyzing complex, high dimensional data from varying sources to solve difficult problems.Data Science IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $100,600 - $199,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $131,400 - $215,400 per year.
