Do you want to influence product engineering teams to shape the next generation of data and analytics capabilities for Xbox? The Xbox Platform Data Intelligence team is looking for a highly motivated Senior Data Engineer with data platform experience. You will work closely with Product Managers in designing, implementing, and evolving innovative capabilities tailored to drive analytics and insights on engineering features. You will also partner with business stakeholders to understand data requirements to support business intelligence. Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 4+ years experience in business analytics, data science, software development, data modeling or data engineering workOR Master's Degree in Computer Science, Math, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field AND 3+ year(s) experience in business analytics, data science, software development, or data engineering workOR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years of product management / engineering experience and a BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline5+ years of data analytics or data science experienceAbility to use judgement and rating schemes to turn qualitative information into quantitative estimatesProficiency in scenario analytics, mining for insightsExperience with any or similar technologies: Azure Data Explorer (Kusto), Azure Cosmos DB, Reporting applications (Power BI, Tableau, Grafana), Applied LLM to local data stores.
Software Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $117,200 - $229,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $153,600 - $250,200 per year.
