Description

We’re looking for a writer who loves tension. The kind that springs from a sharp insight, makes a reader lean in, and transforms a business scenario into something unforgettable. Microsoft’s Marketing Experiences & Engines team is looking for a Creative Writer to help us shape the voice of our Commercial Marketing campaigns. You’ll craft standout copy across our advertising campaigns and other touchpoints, reaching our key customers. This role sits within our Copy Studio, a team of talented writers and editors who bring business scenarios to life through compelling storytelling, real-world context, and a laser focus on the benefits to our customers.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

1+ year(s) proven writing experience AND a certification, degree, or training in English, Writing, or related field OR equivalent experience. 1+ year(s) of copywriting experience in advertising or Business to Business (B2B) marketing Experience writing for audiences across social, display, and web

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

3+ years proven writing experience AND a certification, degree, or training in English, Writing, or related field OR equivalent experience. Experience with AI writing tools and content automation frameworksThe ability to provide a portfolio of relevant work for review

Writing IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
