We are looking for a Content Program Manager - Video to join our Xbox Platform Learning Resources team, and craft educational material intended for a technical audience, with a specific focus on video content. As a Senior Content Program Manager, you will drive the creation of materials that teach our internal and external game studio partners how to bring their games to the Xbox ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for charting a path to better incorporate video into our learning resources portfolio. You will work closely with a globally diverse group of product managers, engineers, technical writers, and marketing and communication leaders. You will be part of a team that plans and produces video content, validates accuracy and completeness, and evaluates effectiveness in teaching and learning. You will be responsible for determining when and how to produce and incorporate video, as well as being involved in the production process. Additionally, you will be part of the leadership team that plans our overall strategy for instructing game creators in how to best bring their work to the Xbox ecosystem …. a strategy that includes technical documentation, guided curricula, Q&A content, artificial intelligence, and other media.

*THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE LOCATED IN REDMOND, WA.

*Must live/relocate to Seattle/Redmond WA area.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

3+ years experience in program management, digital content publishing/management, or experience in a writing or editing role

OR equivalent experience.

Experience planning and publishing video content, including evaluation of the performance of video content. Demonstrated ability to understand and evaluate the effectiveness of teaching materials.Ability to think strategically and solve problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in game production, publication, or business management. Experience using one or more common video distribution channels. Experience with video editing software, practices and procedures. Training or education in pedagogy or teaching theory and practice. Experience with technical writing or editing.

Content Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $98,300 - $193,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $127,200 - $208,800 per year.
