Description

We are currently recruiting for a Consumer Finance Revenue Controller to join our team!

Microsoft Consumer Sales Organisation (CSO) works across all Microsoft products and services sold to Consumers, under 2 Microsoft Solution Areas: Gaming covering Xbox Hardware and Services and Devices and Creativity covering Surface, Office and Windows.

The CSO team partners with internal and external customers alike with the goal of maximizing revenue, market share, and mutual profit ensuring the highest ethics and compliance in any action.

The Consumer Finance Revenue Controller role is an excellent opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic business at a critical point of evolution. You will play an instrumental role in orchestrating how we forecast, measure, monitor the business and drive clear business insights, that help us drive and grow the business providing the building blocks that allow the Finance and Business Orgs identify and critically assess investment opportunities optimizing between margin & share to drive profitable sustainable growth engines and shape the landing of our strategy. You will work with diverse teams in matrix organization. Work across the CSO both Finance and Business teams to drive consistent revenue reporting partnering across Consumer Sales Finance teams and Business Operations to land solutions.Drive the revenue outlook process end to end, managing timing, process, tool through to report out.Drive process and tool efficiency across the teams providing for a seamless, standard approach across all groups. . Continually review revenue reporting capability, understand usage and use the insights to inform the go forward action plan whether that be report changes, replacement or training requirements.Support business critical ad hoc data and analytics requirements, driving a common understanding of what is required and driving to solutions.Not just work within established process but recognizes opportunities to fundamentally improve how we operate and acts as an agent of change, using both formal and informal influence channels to mobilize others.Simplify the complex and inspire through storytelling and excellent communication skills. Provide high-quality narrative of performance all up for executive meetings.Conceptualizes and designs new approaches to how financial data is collected and evaluated to impact future outcomes and decisionsDrives improvements in data management through automation. Qualifications

Required/Miniumum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership or finance, or related fieldOR equivalent experience.Financial Analysis IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
