OverviewAs part of the Microsoft Gaming Communications team, you will join a group of professionals focused on telling the stories that help people fall in love with Gaming at Microsoft, the things we make, and the impact we have in the world.
At team Xbox, we’re on a mission to bring the joy and community of gaming to everyone on the planet. We’re looking for a highly organized, collaborative, and proactive Sr. Comms Manager, Integrated Content Comms, to join the Gaming Communications team. Tasked with managing our biggest games portfolio moments, this global role will be responsible as a key comms leader, working across Activision, Bethesda, Blizzard, King, Mojang, and Xbox Game Studios to help drive planning and execution around key game portfolio moments and initiatives.
The ideal candidate brings their experience as a comms leader in gaming or entertainment with an understanding of go-to-market campaigns, a demonstrated excellence in project management, collaboration, and coalition-building. They excel at managing complex initiatives across stakeholders and thrives as a force multiplier for teams across gaming. They embody a very proactive, curious, learn-it-all mentality in how they work, embrace ambiguity, and have a bias for action.

Responsibilities
Global lead and project manager for cross functional teams on key games moments and events Partner with comms and marketing leadership to evolve process around go-to-market plans and long-range planning. Identify Comms learnings across Game Content & Studios to implement best practices on key launch efforts such as announcements, previews, reviews, momentum, measurement, and creator strategy. Collaborate with other communications leads and studio teams to drive integrated storytelling for major game moments, identifying and implementing opportunities for portfolio-wide storytelling and creator initiatives across Game Studios.Help drive rhythm of business for the content team, including team operations and fiscal planning as well as helping team pioneer new ways of storytelling.

Communications IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.
